1. We stayed at the Concorde Hotel Kuala Lumpur for a night in mid-January 2006. Checking in was a breeze (but we booked through HotelClub.net so that helped a lot) and we were immediately brought to our room. The superior room was charming with view of the KL Towers. It was a bit small (about 25 sq.m.) but it had a comfortable bed, clean towels, clean sheets, a safe, an iron with an ironing board, a hairdryer and the usual toiletries (shampoo, bath gel, shower cap, toothbrush kit.) The location was excellent - it's near the Bukit Nanas station of the Monorail and Dang Wangi station of the PutraLine. So, you can easily ride the trains to all the must-see places. It is also a few meters away from the KL Towers (but no matter what the ladies in the front desk say, take a cab going there. It may only be a few meters away but it is an uphill climb.) Hard Rock Cafe is on the ground floor and there's also a row of bars around the block.

2. Bed size was too small. Very bad service by the service managers and front desk. The took more than 45 min to rectify the room lock issue. For that, I had to make lot of call and follow-up to rectify. Too bad service / exprience.

5. Excellent downtown location offering easy walking to Petronas Towers and KLCC shopping mall. The hotel is quite modern and rooms are spacious and tastefully decorated. Staff were very warm and attentive...quite eager to please. Multiple restaurants on site are all good value for "hotel restaurants." Live music nightly in the bar and Hard Rock Cafe is just next door also featuring live bands most nights.

6. Excellent value at MYR$245++. Just one-way airport transfer will cost MYR$90! We were upgraded to a room with 2 Queen beds!! WOW!! Normally you should expect a Premier room with plenty of space, a King size bed and nicely furnished.

7. I would definitely recommend the Concord Hotel to anyone who wants to have a trouble free stay in KL. It was very good value for money.

We had made a reservation for a Premier room, but we were upgraded to a Premier Executive room (!) because they were rather fully booked those nights we were there. I tell you, I have never seen a larger hotel room in my life. It was outstanding! The bathroom itself was worth every Ringgit we payed for the whole room.

The overall service was very efficient and the cleanliness was spotless. We couldn''t have had a better stay in KL at any other hotel within the same price range. We were totally satisfied with our whole stay!

8. This is my second time choosing Concorde. I requested a premier room but was upgraded to premier executive at no extra charge. I would still prefer premier room and not executive because I find it more cozy. The room is a bit smaller than executive ones but the extra wood partition gives the room added coziness and feels more comfortable.
