Located right in the heart of the city of the popula shopping area of Bukit Bintang, one cannot ask for a better location as a visitor.
Rooms
Rooms are furnished in beige carpets with off white walls.The furniture is classical with sofa.Satelite TV channels in all rooms with high speed internet connection.Bathrooms are marble floored with shower in bath.Please note that twin beds are two super single sized beds.
Restaurant
There are three outlets in the hotel Checkers the coffeehouse serving the buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner.Ala Carte is also available for local and international favorites.Cellini, the Italian restaurant serves Italian fine dining.Windows Lounge serves drinks and outdoor local foods like satay.
General
This is a very good value for money 4 star boutique hotel in an excellent location.Excellent choice if price and location is a consideration.

1. We are a couple in our 50's. Loved the Dorsett Regency. We'd been away for 5 weeks and just loved everything about the Dorsett - best beds of the trip. Clean, spacious, comfortable and terrific service with fresh linen daily. Great pool to lounge around in the KL heat, swim, read a book, enjoy a drink from the bar - it was fabulous and we'd highly recommend to anyone.

3. A very well run hotel with friendly and efficient service. It is very centrally located and yet the generously sized rooms are very quiet with comfortable beds. The buffet breakfasts are a delight.

5. Room was spacious with two queen size beds; booking on the internet was good because we got the room on the high floor.

6. Whilst room had good view, the state of carpets in foyer and rooms need to be attended to. Overall maintenance required to rooms etc. Service was good. Location was convenient to main centre and to the rail. Would go back to hotel for the location and view of Towers.

7. Need to improve the maintainance in bathroom such as towels hangers were not fitted well and room''s location is very noisy near the elevator area.

8. The front counter staff in general has very limited experience and they are confused and unattentive. For eg., I stayed in the Club Esquire Room & was entitled to use the Esquire Club but was refused entry several times and was only allowed entry after I request them to check my bookings.
