1. It''s sad that the apartment has hot plate that you cannot use, at lease provide a micro and some bowls and plates (this apartment which I visited long time ago had the basic) after all it''s an apartment.

2. Reaching the hotel at 6pm, I was told that the apartment that I have requested was ''Not Available''. My simple request for a ground level unit was sent more than 3 weeks before the check-in date, and is not that difficult for the hotel to fulfill. Request for a cot was also not met. Instead, they suggested with a compromise - mattress on the floor. I accepted such compromise. Four hours after my request and over dinner, nothing was delivered. So, what else can I say?

3. I used to stay in Hotel Equatorial in Penang and Melaka. The one at Cameron is the worst I ever stayed in term of staff attitude ~ not helpful at all and to the extent unfriendly and very very reactive. Hotel room upkeep is the worst too, rooms are not properly cleaned and you can spot stains everywhere. I will avoid Hotel Equatorial at Cameron in my next visit, services are terrible.

4. The location is perfect, cool, lovely place to stay. I stayed in a 2-bed room apartment, I felt that rooms should be repainted to brighten the atmosphere. I had a problem with the toilet, it needs to be checked. There should be more facilities ie. spa or foot massage.

5. Swimming pool still closed for repairs (6 months after initial notification at time of booking.) The hotel was clean but would benefit from some refurbishment and redecoration.

6. The hotel is spectacularly positioned with 360 degree views. Comfortable and clean rooms. We experienced a problem with a lack of hot water, which was fixed late at night. Highly recommend the bar restaurant - 5 course meal for RM80 of unbelievable quality with exceptional service - the chef is a man of great talent! Sadly the chinese restaurant was very disappointing, with extremely poor service. Would be happy to re-visit or recommend to friends.

7. Located at the peak of Cameron Highlands, this is one of the hotels with the best views of the cloud covered mountain tops. Hotel rooms located on the last two levels of the hotel''s main building comes with a small balcony. Our hotel room actually overlooks the strawberry farms, the rose gardens and the vegetable plantation. On the whole, I fine the surroundings of the hotel relaxing and rejuvenating.

8. Hotel isolated with nothing to do. One morning we walked down to the roadside market mostly for vegetables and strawberries. Tour desk at hotel not very helpful.
