Introduction:
Riddled with facts and fiction, a sunken Khmer City, mythical 'naga' (Dragon) - Lake Chini remains an attraction for the nature lover with a spirit of adventure. Located south-west of Kuantan in the wilds and surrounded by mountains, Lake Chini accessible by a out-board motorboat ride under the canopy of some very old and interesting tropical trees lining the narrow winding river.
The highlight of this tour is a visit to an 'Orang Asli' (Aborigine) settlement to witness their way of life and the natives will enlighten you of their way of hunting using a blow-pipe. An added bonus, when in season, is the startling beauty of pink lotus in full bloom.
