Introduction:
Embark on an interesting journey back to the time to the Spice Trade in Penang. Begin the trail from Fort Cornwallis which marks the point where Captain Francis Light first landed and where the spice trade started. Later proceed to the Western side of the island, see clover and nutmeg trees growing on hillslopes and stop at a local fruit stall before proceeding to the Spice Garden.
Tour the garden and learn of the various types of spices and visit the unique spice museum. Option to enjoy lunch in the Garden's Coffee Terrace at the end of the tour.
